The City of London Festival has released a new key-stage 3 web resource - George Bridgetower: Art, Liberty & Slavery, 1807.

The resource includes media and worksheets related to Bridgetower's life and career, his relationship with Beethoven, the late 18th-century slave trade and anti-slavery movement, as well as the wider social and political context of the time, and lessons on leading British cultural figures Josiah Wedgwood and William Blake, plus an interview with Julian about Bridgetower's music.
